In this day and age, we are all very aware that keeping fit and healthy is vital. However, we also know that eating fast food regularly is not good for us, but it is just so convenient, and boy does it taste good.
The point I am trying to make is that just because we know what is good for us, it doesn’t mean we always follow that advice. Having a swimming pool installed at home can and will help your health for a number of reasons
Swimming pools are brilliant for many reasons, but unfortunately, they are also the cause of many accidents and even fatalities, so when designing your pool, there are some things you need to take into consideration.
One of the most frequent questions that pool owners ask is whether or not they should heat up their pool in the winter months.
The reason they ask this relates to the amount of money it will take to keep the pool warm during the colder weather and if it is financially viable.
When you first get your new pool, it looks just divine, the water sparkles and tiles are perfectly clean and hopefully it looks even better than you had hoped for. This is how you want your pool to remain, and provided you follow the tips below; that isn’t actually as difficult as it might seem.

Your swimming pool doesn’t have to be just for leisure, it can be a big part of an overall healthy lifestyle. Swimming as part of your fitness routine is extremely beneficial. It has been shown to reduce heart disease, stroke and many other chronic issues.
David Sparkes, the ASA Chief Executive, said, “It’s quite simple really. By swimming you’ll be improving your health but more importantly you may actually remember how much fun it is!”
When swimming it is easy let your mind float away, so not only is it a great form of physical fitness, it is also a great stress reliever. Let’s be honest…most of us could really use 30 minutes to focus on the well being of our mind AND body.
So the next time you jump in, swim a few laps, enjoy the evigorating rush you feel when you get your heart rate up a bit while your thoughts slow down.
Fall is coming, which means leaves will soon be falling. Unfortunately those leaves sometimes end up in your swimming pool. This time of year it is especially important to check your skimmer baskets regularly. Making sure that skimmer baskets are free from debris will promote good water circulation in your pool, and will prevent many equipment issues. It is also important to check pump baskets to make sure none of those pesky leaves made it that far.
